New retail outlet for 2012 products at St Pancras Station

A New retail outlet called MAK Retail is opening on tuesday at St Pancras station, they will have stocks of pins including new mascot pins

From the photos in your blog of 27th July 2010, the new London 2012 Shop looks like a pin collectors dream! The pin wall looks well stocked, but I wonder for how long?

By the way, what pins were Seb and Boris wearing? They don't look like 2YTG pins!

Boris was wearing the silver LOCOG logo pin at Stratford today and Seb the Union Flag, the pin at St Pancras looks blue though

I agree, the pin at StP was blue, but from the TV it looks like the Velodrome one was silver, but larger than the one on the inventory I'd say.

The pin wall is great. Something you only seem to get in Olympic stores. I usually have to wait every 2 years to enjoy browsing a pin wall. Not any more. I can walk 5 minutes down the road!

Do you know what the new shop's opening hours are at present? Unfortunately, I live about an hour away, and I wouldn't want a wasted journey after work.

I believe the shop stays open till 9.30pm every night.

Evening all,

In case others choose to visit the London 2012 Shop at St Pancras after work, please note that it closes at 9.00pm each evening.

Don't worry though, Tom, I did make it on time, but only with fifteen minutes to spare! That was just long enough to get to the pin wall to check through everything on offer, and then to purchase my four new Winter flower pins.

I think that having a shop at St Pancras will really boost London 2012's profile. I think it will get more people at the games, as well as there will probably be a shop on the Olympic Park, somewhere!

I am really looking forward to see the pin wall!
